I joined the last cooking event at Godsbanen. I learned to cook
salmon in a new way, it was a lot of fun and so much good food
and good music!

Few weeks ago we've got a new cook Malik as "praktikant"
at our canteen too cook few times a week. Yesterday's beef and spinach dish made by him was just too good! I hope he'll stay!
I enjoy the "Malik days".

I met Grith and Jens at a food event last week. I was looking for
a job. They knew a friend who was looking for a truck driver.
In one evening, I got good food, new friends and my first job
in Denmark.

When I came to Aarhus I joined a welcome city tour organized
by Den Nye Havn. They matched me with a Danish family that I still keep in touch with. We are friends now. Den Nye Havn asked me
if I want to be a volunteer, I joined their team welcoming new refugees who like me came to Aarhus. We have nice times together, last time was sunny, we had pizza and went to Aros. It feels good
to be the one showing them Aarhus.

I wanted to do something. Together with a girl from Somalia we decided to start Den Nye Havn - an initiative that organizes city tours for the refugees coming to Aarhus. To make it happen, I had to learn about the city myself, it was a good motivation. I want people to get a good welcome, it's important.

My wife's friend told me about that Venligbo Café, I was curious about the people who came to Aarhus, I joined for one event and met Muhmad. He told me he likes sports, I'm a regular runner.
It turns out that we live not far from each other and now we have been running together couple of times. Nice to have company
from time to time.
